The system is based on the NI PXI platform working in conjunction with the RIO expansion chassis. The software has been developed in the LabVIEW graphical programming environment and NI Veristand.
Simulated model of 6 cylinder engine is running on a real-time PXI controller, while DAQ, FPGA and CAN interface are used for communication with the ECU, throttle body and instrument cluster.
The system is designed with the hardware-in-the-loop architecture and features real-time testing and simulation of vehicle parameters. The software is flexible for development and can be extended through the use of software environments, such as LabVIEW, NI Veristand, etc.
